I praise the man
who invented Panti-Legs
for his pregnant wife
So she could be
more comfortably
leaving
the house
walking
the streets
off to buy groceries
No one to give her strife
No girdles or garter belts
to press on her belly
What upsets me
is that we
had to worry
about hosiery
to value our dignity
at all
Even while actively
procreating
