Is this how you thank me?

I told you…

Don’t bring those nylons home from the War

Maybe Uncle Sam was right

Perhaps these tights
are better serving
our soldiers to fight

I cut the head of the flower stems
wrapped in nylons

Bygones

I refuse to conform

So I cut the chord

Soldiers don’t seem to listen anymore
